The Research Center’s Mission

THE CITRD is a laboratory of financial research that brings together the research activities in the principal departments of the Californian Institute of Trading: Mathematics, computer science, economics, finance, decision-making sciences, and psychology. This corresponds to a wide range of categories of research calling on analytical frameworks and diverse and fundamentally pluridisciplinary methodologies. These form the key subjects in the trading course: the CITRD’s advancements in research is primarily for the benefit of our students who put the research into practice in the trading room. Research seminars from different CIT departments are held regularly to promote the sharing of information.

The laboratory’s research activity revolves around four principal research axes. One of these research axis can span several departments. The four axes are the following:
